The female figure has been used throughout history as the epitome liberty and justice. The white woman is the allegorical image for the greater good for humanity. This body of work looks at the irony of using this sort of imagry as a symbol for these virtues in America. She is a constant reminder for the need for new and more inclusive symbols, images which better represent the “all”.
