Painted on Tommy Bahama fabric, for a cloth version of affluence upholstering the American dream of luxury living, this series examines the fabric of America during the first summer of the Covid-19 pandemic. Summer of the Pandemic are paintings which contemplate the actions and reactions of suburban Americans during lockdown.

They depict the drama of those sequestered on the Northshore as they cope with masking mandates, the quarantine fifteen, the challenge of keeping their kids occupied, and the day-to-day trials and tribulations of life on the Long Island Gold Coast.
