Eighty Miles a Day, part of the City in Pictures blog, is possibly the first of it's kind to document Americana through the lens of a dirty window on the Long Island Railroad.


This annual Journey of over 20,000 miles, normally short on zen and fraught with delays, produced a remarkable series of images which capture the ever changing ambiance of this rural to urban landscape.


This collection of work seeks to capture a bit of that timeless, surreal, echo emanating from New York City to the surrounding bits of our planet connected to the crossroads of the world.
